STWALKER

2012

The final design is to help users to stand up from an armless chair by using this walker. There are two handles added onto the walk at the height of the armrests of a regular chair. The rear feet are bended, in order to support the press when user presses on the handles to stand up. This redesign could expand the usage of walkers. Users could stand up easily not only from a chair with armrests, but also the armless ones, including toilets. After users stand up, they could adjust the height of the tool by pressing the red buttons and move the upper handles. They no longer have to bend down to do anything.
