This is a study of visual perception. What I did was choosing a bad designed map, and redesigning it by using colors, adding effects, and creating new glyph system, in order to improve the visual communication between the map and audiance.

• In this work, I used red and blue in different values to demonstrate the temperature changing between different areas. The sudden switch from red to blue is representing that temperatures in these two areas are above zero and below zero.

• The glyphs represent the weather in the cities, including events, wind levels, and wind directions. They were designed in bright yellow and green, which ensure that they pop out from the background.
